How it works
Our batik Hand paint Process
The artist outlines the motif in hot liquid wax to prevent colors from mixing.
Next, each color is painted one by one onto the stretched pareo.
Drying the pareo
Pray for sunny weather! The pareo must hang to air dry. Allowing time for all the designs to take their form.
After the pareo is dry, it is then soaked in several baths to melt the wax out of the fabric. Leaving your beautiful design!
The pareo is then dried again, sewn, ironed, checked for flaws, packaged and then shipped to you!
